FebriDx® is a rapid, fingerstick point-of-care test that helps healthcare providers distinguish between bacterial and viral infections in patients presenting with acute fever. Using a single drop of blood, FebriDx detects elevated levels of MxA (Myxovirus resistance protein A) and CRP (C-reactive protein)—two host-response biomarkers that indicate the nature of the infection.
